Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd Season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been The Talk's first hosts and hosts. She hosted and moderated the talk show between 2010 and 2018, when she was the host. She was a journalist before becoming host, but her love of writing was for the written word. Actually, the show brought her an Emmy. Then she won a second Emmy for her role as host of an outstanding entertainment talk program. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hosts. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News the early morning news program The Early Show for a decade. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor in addition to being the news anchor on The Early Show. Chen Moonves was tasked with reporting from Cairo following the events of the 9/11 attacks. In Cairo, she scoured down and interviewed the father who led the hijackers in an eye-opening and captivating interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show that profiled celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul.Prior to The Early Show, Chen Moonves reported as an anchor and reporter at WCBS-TV, a CBS-owned station in New York City (1997-1999).Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). While completing her last year of college, she was an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). As a desk-assistant in the ABC News late night broadcast Nightline she was a part of the team that worked with Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special which explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
